Santa Teresa beach
The Santa Teresa beach opens onto one of the city's most frequented urban beaches in its past, now turned into a meeting point and gathering place connecting the Lungomare, a source of pride for the city, with the Crescent and Piazza della Libertà. A modest yet highly esteemed project that has reclaimed an area of the city that was heading towards degradation.
A teakwood boardwalk, palm trees, a series of ramps, and stairs leading towards the beach characterize the layout of the intervention designed by Carlo Cuomo and Associates. A solarium, a resting place, but also a venue for small shows and a play area thanks to the small amphitheater located towards the tourist port and Piazza della Libertà.
An outdoor bar allows for enjoying coffee or an aperitif in great relaxation facing the sea and the Gulf of Salerno.
