Amalfitani Salerno Centro is located in the heart of Salerno's historic centre,
a stone's throw from the sea and the city's most important attractions. Our bed and breakfast is located adjacent to one of the most beautiful and ancient squares in Salerno, Piazza Sedile del Campo, in a historic building with a lift, where the poet and writer Alfonso Gatto lived for some years. The district includes the area of Largo Campo, formerly known as Campus Grani, as it was the site of the grain market. In medieval times, it was the hub of city life and was home to the bank, bookshops, jewellers and shops.
